Battery:
The phone is equipped with a 5160 mAh battery, which offers good battery life for regular usage. However, the large battery adds to the weight, making the device heavier at around 235 grams** when the case is on. It supports 18W charging but comes with a 33W charger in the box, allowing for quicker recharging.
Display:
The Redmi 14C features a 6.88-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. While the higher refresh rate provides smoother scrolling, the 720p resolution falls short of the price range, resulting in pixelated sharpness. The design includes a dewdrop notch and thick bezels, which feel outdated compared to punch-hole displays seen on other budget phones.
Performance and Storage:
The phone runs on a Helio G81 Ultra chipset, which delivers similar performance to the older G85 processor. The eMMC storage type makes the phone feel sluggish with slow app opening times and occasional lag, especially after a few months of use. The software is Android 14, with a refined HyperOS skin, which is an improvement over previous versions but still has some bloatware.
Camera:
